Ever since Paul W. S. Anderson’s Resident Evil film series wrapped in 2016, fans have been eagerly waiting for the more faithful film series reboot that has been promised for some years now. Constantin Film’s announced their plans to reboot the series soon after Anderson concluded his sextet of action films. After all, the franchise series had already made them way over a billion dollars at the box office. The new film is being directed by Johannes Roberts, who dropped some new on an interview with IGN for SXSW, including the films new name Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
